Not sure if an intake can be unreliable but you get what im saying. I really liked the dyno numbers from the K&N tyhoon intake, plus the fact it stays in the engine bay. Im kinda paranoid about intakes that go down into the fender...isnt driving in the rain dangerous?

Anyways, im just looking for something trouble free...that wont trip the check engine light or anything. Is there a need to reset the computer after install?

 

K&N or Perrin short ram would be my suggestion. I had the K&N and now I have the Perrin.

They are both great intakes and will yield about the same gains. Both will work well with the stock ECU also.
