Knocking /Ping
Knocking /Ping
Ok so I have a 06 Sti thats a stage 2, I am having some issues, maybe im pariniod but I dont know. Seems like the car is Knocking/Pinging both on a OTA map and on the stock cobb stg2 91 map.
Basically the DAM is sitting around .25 or 0 and the dynamic advance is ranging from 5 to -6,
im seeing alot of the negative when decellerating, is this normal? the last run I did at WOT I could physically hear what sounded like marbles in a can, so i immediatly let off the gas. I have some logging from teh AP, but it does not look complete, as if it stops logging some fields at random.

update.
uhhhg my car is tempremental... wtf. I reset the ecu for about 10 min, then reflashed my base ota map (i know i know a dyno tune would be WAY better, but there isnt a tuner around me from what ive seen (socal riverside area). I did a vinshu (sp) reset and checked teh AP to see what it said, my DAM=1 at this point, I am assuming this is good, No negs on the dynamic advance after the reset, then while driving I got 1 good one (-3.5) on a decel for a split second, then I got a few -0.5's here and there. but my DAM dropped to 0 and at the end of the log no matter how I drove both the DAM and the DA read 0, is this good bad indifferent?
heres a link to my last log, if someone that kinda knows can look at it and just give me a heads up to as if im hurting the motor or not I would be very greatfull.
