i have an 06 wrx, 2,800 miles on it, NO mods,

when ever i start it up and let it warm up for about 5 minutes it makes a loud knocking noise, i hit the gas and it goes away

wat the hell is wrong with it, its deffinetly under warranty if i need a new motor or something

 

^true but im the second person today that has came in with the SAME complaint, 2 brand new wrx's making the same noise while warming up, wtf,

 

dude i fell bad for u but at least u still have a warranty!

does he dealship know what it is???

the guys up here are prudy smart and know alot compared to other dealership!
well when ur car is stock!

 

the dealership doesnt know wat it is,,

i think its a something ****ed like a bent lifter or something, cause they drove it hard before i bought it,, this salesman told me he took it to 120, at like 200miles on the engine, douche bags, i wanna sue them

 

just get a nEw ****in engine!!!!under warranty

but u also got thecar for a hell of a deal!!!!!!

400, and for my car u cant go over 4k, u rev at 7k i rev at 6,5k

but if they ****ed wit it u can blame them!!!!

ya im using the fact that it had 400 miles on it in my advantage here,,

i guess ill have to wait till friday to be sure about wat it is

well i have to save for a clutch and brake pads!

i've done alot of research and the dealer also said it might be a bad cam belt tensenor
