I've been doing a lot of reading lately on the EJ25's since I have so much to learn, and as I read others threads, I notice a lot of people talk about taking off some type of silencer when it comes to the stock intake box. Can anyone make some clarifications on what that is and if its affective in any way? Thanks

 

this been cover so many times, you see the serch on top of this this thread? use that and search for: silencer delete, snorkus delete. try that

A lot of people, including myself, got the GP Moto silencer delete. It doesn't add any power, but the turbo spool is a bit louder.

 

Just get a Cobb or SPT Short Ram.

 

Just remove the silencer. Nobody likes intake, and you will get the sound with the silencer. just remove the wheel-well and go on from there.
