does anyone know who makes a aftermarket intake manifold, i know aps makes one for the wrx, but iam looking for a sti one?

 

I don't think there is any difference from the wrx manifold to the sti manifold other than the color.

 

The US STi manifold is the same as the WRX, but the JDM one is different. It has no TGV valves. However, removing your TGVs will require that you either do some creative wiring to convice the ECU that they're still there, or go to an aftermarket engine management solution. You don't need to replace your manifold for any reason but to remove the TGVs.

 

Yes the APS ones for the WRX and the STI are the same, though the stock Mani flows very well, As BAN mentioned you can either run TGV deletes or a V8 manifold if your looking for better flow, though I know alot of STIs making alot of power with the stock mani and TGVs

 

Magnus makes a mani for the STi

dont know if its available to the public yet

btw, the mani netted ~35whp

 

most results in "Modified" are dubious at best, though the Magnus mani does look very tasty, though I wish they would make one that incorporated TGV deletes like the V8, the one they have bolts right to the TGVs
