Yes you will need new, larger injectors, as well as an upgraded fuel pump. Also you have to tune your ECU once everything is installed.

You will need the STi pink injectors, Walbro fuel pump and engine managment, such as Accessport, I also would recommend a protune. Gruppe-S.com is selling VF34 turbo packages for pretty cheap.

1.) Disregard the above posts, they either misread your question, or just don't know any better. The 06 injectors flow MORE than the JDM STI "Pinks".

2.) You are to read this link and continue to research how to modify the 2006-07 model WRXs

dude! you dont need larger injectors. 06's injectors are about the same as pinks. why dont you go 18g or 20g instead of a vf34? vf34 is too small for 2.5(06's)

Depends on where you live, assuming you already have an engine manegment system, a dyno tune usually starts at ~$200 per hour. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. A set up like yours shouldn't go more than 2 hours at the most.

Ask around for good shops in the socal forum. Those peeps should be able to point you in the right direction.

i will say the vf34 isnt a very good turbo in my opinion. The Mitsubishi turbo's 16g, 20g...have better flow rate and if you order from Deadbolt they give you free rebuilds for life! A vf34 is not too small for a 2.5L wrx though, the STI has a vf39 which is even smaller...It really depends what your looking for. If you want lots of low-mid range power get a 16g, 18g for more mid-top end, and a 20g is an awsome highway puller.

for everyone here who hasnt heard, the 06+ wrx uses 560cc top feed "Blue" injectors

lucky bastids

and yeah, unless you can get a sweet deal on a used VF34, I would take a 16G over one for the price

I got a vf39 for $300.... got me to a 12.90 1/4 with a stock intercooler.... ALL YOU NEED is the turbo, gaskets, accessport, exhaust, and a bigger intercooler. You DO NOT NEED injectors or a fuel pump.
