how much boost can be run on my STI EJ25T

Hi
i got a 04 WRX STI runing Cold air intake, Blitz SBC DC,
Does anyone know or recomened how much boost can be run on my car is safty.

The car already pings as is. Leave the boost alone until you get engine management.

Get rid of the intake too. If it is leaning out the car, you'll ping even worse.

It can vary on how the car has been driven, but the best I heard of was turboXS's at 15.6psi. Most others are a little lower. The stock turbo is running at 100% so increasing boost will require a turbo upgrade. Here's a good link for you to read about this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...5&pagenumber=1

It's typically about 15 psi. Slightly higher than a WRX.

that sounds about right, I thought it was 13.5 for the WRX and 14.5 for the STI

WRX peaks at 1 bar, or 14.7 psi.

1 bar = 14.5psi

standard pressure at sea level = 14.7psi

There are 2 definitons of bar, either 14.5 or 14.7 is considered 1 bar depending on who you ask. That's why I said I should have said 14.5 psi, give or take.
