hks cat back

i got the hks cat back, i am wondering if i just bolt it on and that is it, or is there something else i have to do besides just taking off the old and put on the new, no battery diconect and reconnect and let it idle for 10 minutes is there?

no nothing at all, just take the old one off, put the catback on. and you are set.

thanks i just went out and did it, sounds cool, and i heard the 06 has equall length headers to.

do you mean stock? if so, then you need to check you sources again my friend. if they had equal length headers, the boxer rumble would no longer be there. Plus, i doubt Subaru would go through the trouble of redesigning the headers since the ones they have now are fine.

anyways, +1 on installing it yourself, thats the way to go in my mind. plus you get to go underneath your car and get a good feel for everything.

alll i used were to ramps socket set, and channel locks, the channel locks i needed to use to squeeze the fange between the cat and the mid pipe to geter to pu th bolts in that was the bs part. also if you do it it is nice to have some one help you it is a little tight undr there, so haveing your girlfreind hand you stuff is almost a must.
