Hitting 12 seconds

Will I hit late/early 12 seconds on a 1/4 mile track with this setup on a 2005 WRX STi?

IHI VF34 turbo
STi Pink 565cc injectors
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
ECU upgrade (XEDE or ECUtek)
APS 3" High Output TBE w/ CAT
Suspension upgrades (you guys know what's up)
Will be running 91 octane gas (not planning on higher octanes)

Uhh... any takes on this, or no one really knows the answer? I know at least one out of all entire forum members will be able to answer.

I think that the VF34 could/should get you there, but is a bit small for a 2.5 liter engine. It's just about right for the EJ20, IMO.

Hmm... you're maybe right. I'll search around and see what I can find.

Thanks, I appreaciate everyone's time to answer the question. I have a better idea now on how it will do. I will consider using higher octanes, I'm just a little worried of what it may do to my car. I read the manual regarding octanes, and I'd follow the recommendations as much as I could.

You would be better off getting a VF22 clipped and port/polished. It will hold boost longer and give you more topend. Gruppe-s sales them for $599. You can get all the work done to it at deadbolt.com. Talk to Jerry. This may even put you in Low 12's high elevens. You can also take your injec. out and ship them to Perrin and have them modded to 816cc. for $200. This flow rate will help out alot with the bigger turbo.

STi is really a potent car!! Simple mods as listed above can get 12's, I'm impressed. Thanks for all inputs, now I have even better picture of this car in modding! Knowledge is power

Right on BlackedOutSTi... thanks a bunch!!

I have an 05 WRX STi and I think it is side feed injectors for this model (or for all models of STi's?). After all these inputs, and I'm going to do a little more searching to see what I can come up with. But, I am considering Vishnu to tune the car for me, I kinda don't trust myself a lot on this. I'm thinking of doing Stage 1 for now, and see how it does on 1/4 track. Then from there, I'll see if I want to step up to Stage 2 which can get you to 11's.

first off there are at least 2 STIs over on nasioc that have got into the 12s bone stock so you should be right in there with that list

also 04-05 stock STI injectors are 480cc. the STI 565 you hear about are the old top feeds. But you can run a VF34 on stock injectors just fine, I did for 20K miles, even though the injectors are running near max on the VF34 with good tuning you wont be running as rich as on stock EM and therefore your injectors will have more headroom. with TBE, short ram, headers, and set at 16PSI I never ran over 95% IDC once tuned. And if you only plan on running 91 oct I would get an Ecutec flash over the Xede.
