Help with my new WRX

Have a new 2008 wrx that is completely stock. I am looking at making it sound better and not necessarily messing with the engine/performance (for now) so I'm looking for some suggestions on what muffler to buy and possibly the turbo exhaust mechanism (not sure it's actual name). Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Cobb exhaust is great! Might as well get the accesses port also. Check out banshee waste gate. Cheers

So I guess im wondering if there is a certain part that I'm looking for, I'm not really looking to spend 5-700 dollars in a whole new exhaust system, could purchasing just a muffler do what I'm looking for?

Car Info: 2010 subaru wrx
you could do an axle-back system. depending on if you're a hatch or sedan, you could do this:

Subaru 08+ WRX 4 DOOR - MEGAN Racing Single 4" Axle back | eBay

Perrin 08-09 WRX Hatchback Axleback Exhaust System | eBay

there are other axle-back systems available.

So a waste valve won't mess with me car even though it is mostly stock right now?
