Helix or switch to Evo2 Cat Back?
Helix or switch to Evo2 Cat Back?
I am having a hard time deciding what to do on my 2006 STI.
I ordered a Helix Catback System a while back. However, it is backordered. I am getting tired of waiting and the company said I could switch it for a Greddy Evo 2 Catback System if I wanted. I have heard great things about both exhausts. I know the Evo 2 will be quieter. I really am looking for a deep sound, not deafening but a moderate amount of sound is okay.
Does anybody know if the Evo 2 is a straight through design muffler?
Is there a horse power advantage between the two? I will be running a Helix catted down pipe and stage 2 tuning. Can anyone give me advice or some first hand experience. I found a lot of information on the Evo 2 but not so much on the Helix Catback. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

i would go for helix, i had that exhaust before, and it sounds really nice, very deep, that is almost the best sounding exhaust i had i think. so i say wait for the helix
Evo2
The Evo2 is a straight through muffler. I like how the Helix exahust looks but I rather go for the Evo2 because of how quiet it is. Where I live, cops are always on the prowl and I rather stay low and out of their radar. That is why I got the RSR Exmag exhaust because it looks stock and is relatively quiet.
