I just installed the EV02 on my '05 STI, and it's very quiet, especially compared to the Perrin twin tip TBE I just took off. Check with Gruppe-S at 510-783-5300. They did mine.

I have the Greddy SP2. It is a very mellow growl that gives good performance. I luv it. I heard the EVO2 is louder than the SP2. Anyone have any feedback on this?

And to answer your question i think the real horsepower gain from exhaust comes from a tune.

The Greddy catbacks sound great. My buddy used to have the Greddy evo2 on his wrx and Ive heard scarface's Greddy on his STi. Both sound awesome.

A helix catted downpipe and greddy catback would be my second choice...if I didnt get my TurboXS turboback.

Catbacks alone dont really ad hp...5hp maybe. Downpipe and tune is where the power is.

I put on an EVO2 a few weeks ago and can't say I feel too much difference. I was more concerned with the sound so that I can hear it with my helmet on at full-chap. It sounds really nice.
