fuel pump and exhaust question

am in the process of upgrading the turbo.

right now i have tbe, ap stg. 2/93, injen intake. i just got my 255lph walbro fuel pump today, and i am going to hte strip tomorrow, will i see any gains/losses by installing the pump? and will i see any gains by taking off rear muff. section of exhaust?

By 'ap', I guess you're referring to Cobb's AccessPort? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the mods associated with their Stage 2/93 octane map.

The fuel pump swap adds no power with factory turbo and injectors. Sure you can try removing the catback part of the exhaust but make sure the exhaust hangers are holding up the rest of the system. If it does make a difference, keep in mind that Cobb uses maps with specific mods in mind. Removing additional restriction can lead to a slight leaning of the air/fuel ratio at full-throttle so do so at your own risk.
