i'm glad we cleared that up....
So i guess it's all up in the air after all...no pun intended
Is there a corallation between the two setups, for different stages?
more specifically, how is the WRC car setup for the tarmac races.
I'd like to think i'd rally my car, and i'd love to, but honestly it probably won't happen. unless anyone knows of races in the massacusets connecticut area. or mainly how to get involved in that, but that's a different topic.
So does anyone have any comments on what the whole setup variance has to do with and it's different strengths and weaknesses.

I've seen the pics Krinkov posted but not the ones by dan. It's possible the scoop intake has been used in the rally car, but pics posted of a display car set up in a dealer show room are far from conclusive. Jury's still out.

Looks like they can run it either way, in any case, I still think it would be neat if you could figure out a way to run this setup, though Im still not sure it would be that big of an improvment over running it in the fender
