extremely n00b question

Well, im the current owner of a 2004 2.5TS but im looking into selling this and buying a used STi within the next two weeks. Of coarse i know this is a huge change in power and thats a whole nother thing to get used to but i am familiar with cars with power (driven 2 350Z's,an 05' Vette and a 03' WRX) .Now i know the easiest way to learn this would be to just go out and test drive an STi (which i plan on doing anyways) but before embarressing myself and potentially scaring a inncoent sales man, i was just wondering if an STi clutch feels extremely different then a 2.5TS. Does it grab at relatively the same point? i know this is a dumb question but i would be jsut a bit more comfortable knowing if its basically the same feeling.. lol thanks.

Every clutch feels a bit different. FWIW I've stalled 4 different STis. Don't sweat it, you'll figure it out fast if you're used to driving a stick.

I had a clutch replaced by the dealer on my WRX, same car but the clutch itself was completely different (although both were the OEM part, subaru changed the clutch). The point is, it's hard to compare model to model when even your own car can feel completely different with different parts alone.

Alright thanks, I of caorse expected it to be different seeing as it is an STi tranny designed to handle that engine, i just was making sure that when i did hop behind the wheel it wasn't entirely different and make me appear to be some driver who has no idea how to drive stick. As long as it resembles the Suby tranny's i've driven before i'll be fine, NOthing i have driven yet was worse (at least feel wise) then my frineds 00 A4 1.8t transmission... ugh..
