EL header to up pipe condensation leak? HELP!!!
guys,
i just changed out my header and up pipe gaskets.
at cold starts i have a small amount on condensation that leaks from my header where it meets my up pipe. its not coolant for sure but its a little hard to smell. so i know its not E85. i do not have any fuel leaks. maybe just a bad gasket? there is not a exhaust leak either.
has anyone else experienced this before ?
maybe a new gasket or or some type of hi temp sealant i can use?
thank you guys

Fluid color? Pics may help. Mods list (you mentioned E85, so your not stock...)?
Can you capture some on a clean paper towel and smell, etc.?
you don't need sealant, you need to find out where this fluid is coming from. Could be coolant from the oil cooler right there by the manifold and UP.

i ordered a new gasket. i never had this issue below with my set up. i do not see any cracks at all. i know sitting over night might blow up some condensation but shouldn't leak from the header to up pipe.
thank you guys. i do not see any other issues. no exhaust leak or boost issues at all

If the flanges are true and the gasket is bueno then what I've found is that the order in which I tighten the connections makes a difference. This is typically what I do.
