EJ27 in an STI ??

EJ27 in an STI ??
I purchased my 06 STI new from the dealership (9 miles)... got my first oil change today... and noticed the engine descrip said EJ27___. After searching, I find it sort of references the ej20 (2.0L block)... any ideas or am i trippin and it is the 2.5L ??
