i uninstalled my hks evc v today since ED says is better to tune with stock ecu boost control.

however, i did leave the hks display in so i can keep my eyes on how many psi i am boosting (hks evc comes wit digital boost display, i dunt have a boost gauge yet). (picture at bottom)

ok.. now that i uninstalled it... no more boosting at partial throttle and car actually run smoother... however... the during 4000-6000rpm ish... is showing that i am boost all the way to 17psi then it would drop to like 15-14psi after 6000rpm

is it the display playing a trick? or do i have to remove it completely?

anyone have any idea?


if you look at the pic on the right... the pink line was from the boost controller to intake manifold.
the red line was another hose from the intake manifold to right under it.

the white color between the pink and red line was the T shaped connector.


the pic on the left. that's a close up look at the intake manifold where the hoses connect.

so anyone have idea?
