I'm thinking I just want to get an axle back so I can keep the sound some what quiet still.

some vendors show db levels of sound for their exhaust. I know for sure the APS exhaust, and the Vishnu exhaust is quiet. But if you just get a cat back exhaust, do you think you will stop there? If you have any intentions on building some power in the future, go with the full turbo back, then you will never have to go back and spend double the money. I used to think that if I just did this one piece, I will stop, but performance is like a drug and I have dumped tons of wasted $$$ by only doing things by pieces. Only to be disappointed and buying it again. Just a bit of advice so you won't kill yourself later. Good luck!!!

Somewhere else someone posted these links but I can't find the post anymore, but they're still in my history:

Won't tell you what the exhaust sounds like but gives you an idea of how loud they are.

any one Help~~~:0!! About the exhaust temp. sensor and uppie!!
HI:
does anyone have problem with check engine light go on, because of up pipe is not the stock one? I just bought the 2002 WRX recently, and I went to the subrua service to check out what happend to the check engine light is on. and they told me, because my exhaust temp. sensor is missing, and if I want to put that sensor back, I should order the stock WRX uppipe and to connect with the exhaust temp. sensor, is that true? cuz it's freaking me like to spend over $500 to get the stock uppipe and exhaust temp. sensor and just want to remove the check engine light off~

You can make these for about $2-3

Also, you probably no longer have a warranty on the car and the aftermarket uppipe is going to give you more horsepower and less lag so if I were you, I would leave the uppipe on and go to www.scoobymods.com and look up RoadSpike's Check Engine Light fix. Good luck.
