Cobbs Short Ram Intake
Yeah, I've been playing around with getting the whoosh and spool sound on demand. I'm glad to hear the that the SPT intake is not oiled so I won't have many worries getting it.

It was too loud for me, if you want to hear the recirc valve going off you will that's for sure. I had no issues with it at all other than the sound. I took it off and sold it though. Back to the stock box and no silencer in the fender. I did not not notice any gain or loss with the Cobb. No flat spots or anything like that. And if you look at my temp plots at the bottom of that page, it didn't take in as much hot air as I thought once you got under way.
Still, I say take out the silencer and call it good
