Step 1. Develope a plan your car. Really think about what you want/desire from it.
Step 2. Find a reputablelocal vendor/tuning shop and talk to them. Any shop/vendor that wants to sell you BOVs, intakes, ****ty/cheap parts is to be avoided.
Work with a minimal number of suppliers to make your desires reality; too many hands = disaster. Avoid bringing parts to your installer/tuning shop in order to save a few $$$s.
The extra money spent at your tuning shop will pay off many times over.
If you plan on doing your own install, most of these suggestions still apply.
