That's what it says on their website: http://cobbtuning.com/sti/accessport.html

If this is true, I hope they'll still support the Accessports that are out there including updating the maps.

Came online to start a new thread about this issue. I went to purchase one for my '06 and it said discontinued. This is a major upset due to my current orders based on this device. Was pushing for stage 2 and recently purchased downpipe and exhaust, among other things.

Checked some other sources and I guess there is a new version coming out or something. I guess it will pay off to wait a little longer.

Im sure they'll still support the old ones. Im guessing the site will grow with the addition of new cars and whatnot being supported. I doubt they'd not support old AP AND not have a trade-in program

A: In preparation for the SEMA announcement of the release of the upcoming AP 2.0.

Q: Is there something wrong with the current AP?
A: No, the current AP is fully functional and has no issues we are currently aware of.

Q: Will you still support the current AP?
A: Yes, the AP 1.0 will still be fully supported by Cobb.

Q: All of your WRX stage packages are listed as discontinued; are you no longer offering WRX tuning products?
A: The tuning packages have been put on hold, pending release of the AP 2.0.

Q: When will you release it?
A: We'll be making more information available regarding features and potential release dates in the follow weeks, with an official announcement at SEMA.

Q: Does this affect the functionality, usability, or warranty of the AP 1.0?
A: None of the aforementioned will be subject to any change, AccessPORTs purchased from us or any of our authorized vendors will still have their warranties honored as always.

Q: What's new about the new unit? // When is the new unit coming out?
A: Keep tuned to the website: cobbtuning.com for the latest information as we come closer to announcement at SEMA.

Q: Price?
A: No price has been set, though expect it to be similar to the pricing for the original AccessPORT for the STI, LGT, FXT models.

Q: Is there a discount / trade in program for current units?
A: At this time there are no plans to offer a discount / trade in program for the current AP 1.0.

Q: Will there be a waiting list?
A: No, there will be no waiting list.
