Check engine light!!

Have an 05 sti with a check engine light sayin it's my gas cap but I replaced it and it still throws the code can anybody help

Check your EVAP Solenoid to see if all the hose connections are connected. If its not that, then its your purge valve located under the gas tank.

Did you reset the ECU after putting the new cap on?

I'm assuming this is a P0457 OP? Do what chicken said, clear the code and see if it comes back. However, it wouldn't hurt to check the EVAP Solenoid for loose connections.

Yea I reset it then it came back also checked all hoses and everything looks good but haven't actually checked the solenoid itself thanks for the help guys really appreciate this **** is driving me nuts
