This is a late post, but still wonderin. On christmas eve I was driving down the highway with the cruise on. Then the CEL starts to flash and the car starts to lurch, so I pull over. Shut the car off and start to think. I got gas about 50 miles back, maybee the gas cap is loose. So I tighten it, start up, drive, then it flashes again. Stop, think, took off the gas cap then retightened it. Started her up and drove. The CEL was at a constant on now, and the Cruise light was flashing. Took it in after Christmass and the code that came up was PO345 - Cam Sensor. The dealership didnt know why this happened, and cant come up with any reason that would set it off. They reset the computer and it hasnt gone off since. Anybody have any ideas? Or know if I might have internal engine damage?

id take it back to the dealer and have them check it out

a cam sensor CEL can be potentially expensive...better to be safe than sorry

 

Yea, I wouldnt risk anything with this car. Make them check it thoroughly(spelling?).
