Blue Smoke means you are burning oil.

Visible blue smoke means oil is getting into the combustion chamber, either past the piston rings or from leaking valve seals and being drawn down the valve stems from the top of the cylinder heads. A compression test might be able to tell you which cylinder is the worst offender but a leakdown test using a gauge and compressed air can narrow it down further.

The turbo could have a failing oil seal. If that's the case, a compression or leakdown test will not find the problem. I'm not sure how to diagnose a failing oil seal except by removing the turbo and inspecting it.
