Blown turbo seal?

Let me preface this thread with the fact that I have done extensive searches on the forums and have yet too be able too draw some conclusions. I am new to the modding/internet forum game so please excuse my ridiculous ignorance when it come to my car speak and the "thread posting" etiquette.

I have an 08 WRX that seems too be chomping down some oil. I have been doing some logging on my AP and don't have high RPM knock but I am getting some low rpm knock of sometimes -7.0. Which maybe something loose in the engine bay??
The car is running really well. I am up too date on my services BUT I am at 107,000 miles. I did throw a code the other night when I mashed on the throttle "p0244".
I am curious if I may have finally blown my intsy-winni TD04.

MODS: I am running an AEM intake, catless 3" TBE, lightweight pulley, gates racing belts, Turbo XS 50/50 @ TP stage 2. Also something too note is that I am getting some black soot on my bumper but I haven't noticed smoke. Car still pulls but I am getting constant over boost. LWG map is an option but I would rather solve the problem than mask it.

- Beau

dont know about turbo seal, but blackish exhaust tips are signs of oil burning.

yeah, I am wondering about my valve seals as well. Is it possible too shoot oil from a busted oil seal on your turbo through your TMIC and into your motor?

i honestly am not to familiar with turbos...YET but, yes valve stem seals leak enough oil to turn your tips black. mine did. LOL. do you notice blue smoke? if yes, do you notice it at start up or under load (accel)

How much oil are you burning up? Some amount of oil consumption seems to be normal for these cars. Are your boost levels within the spec of the map notes?

Was the car tuned for the modifications, or is it just a generic stage 2 map?
