APS or GPmoto
this is a thread regarding headers. equal or unequal length headers. iwas under the impression that equal length headers are more efficient and can produce more pawer with supporting mods sacrificing the REX rumble.
if this is true which brand is better the GPmoto or APS i realise that APS costs more but im willing to wait if the piece is better.
also if anyone has any of these pieces on an STi please reply i would greatly appreciate your feedback

If you wanna spend the dough... APS all the way. Just look at the construction you should easily be able to tell which is the better header. Consider a port match coated stock manifold from Crucial Racing as well. PM EJ20legacy or email crucialracing@gmail.com

I have the APS ext. manifold and uppipe on my 04STi and I'm happy with them. I spent the extra $$ and had them ceramic coated inside and out. I lost no spool on the bottom end and once I tuned timing and fuel a bit felt an slight increase in power. No awd dyno but the butt here in Big Island so.. all results are "impressions" by myself and a friend or two. There is no way its 35hp though.. more like a broader area under the entire curve. Maybe 5-10hp (again BUTT DYNO ONLY) BUTT (lol) the delivery of power is much smoother throughout. Oddly enough, this mod made the exhaust quieter overall. The GP MOTO piece is considered good as well. I have no exxxperience with these however.

I definately read BOTH the threads, both on nabisco and rsd. The claims seemed high to me and apparently the "angry masses" on nabsico thought so too and proceeded to browbeat peter into giving them some dyno charts. This method of questioning seemed to go nowhere (of course) and thusly, no dyno charts were produced. There may be some charts up there now but I tire quickly of the bickering that nabisco is rife with. For now, Im happy with the mani-uppipe combo. I only kinda miss the boxer growl. Until I put my foot down.....MEAN I TELL YA...
....I wish we had an awd dyno IN THIS STATE...oh well. Butt dyno for now. lol

i have a set of GP's headers and i love them. i didnt have time to get them coated so lost some bottom end but i have a great top end. install was easy. you cant run your stock skid plate anymore unless you modify it. and your grumble will go bye bye. but all in all... well worth the money
