I have to concur that I would not go with any other exhaust. I have it and there is no such thing as over-kill and if you are putting that exhaust on, you would be smart ebough to upgrade more stuff later I hope..

Have the exhaust already but haven't gotten it installed. Also APS CAI, and Accessport for Stage 2 enough to make 300 at the wheels is fine with me. And I really love the exhaust couldn't go any other way but APS!

Yes you can use the CAI w/ the AP. I called Rallysportdirect(Rick) and asked him about it he said its ok to run a different CAI along with the AP.

The access port is tuned for the stock airbox. The stock ECU is tuned for the stock air box. If the CAI works on your stock WRX you will have no problem running it with a Access port.
Please let me know if there are more questions
Thanks
Rick

Since this thread is from 2005, I was wondering if there is an update? Did anyone have a problem with the aps 3.5 tbe and the cobb access port?

Cobb Access Ports are designed to work on cars with 3" TBE and Catalytic converters. So you might run into over boosting issue.

The guys at Fine Line Imports have the 3.5" APS TBE on a project STI that is expected to put down a little over 500whp on the dyno as soon as it is tuned.

I really would not suggest buying something like that, you don't really need it unless you are really putting lots of cash down for serious power. a 3" system will be just fine for your sti with the stock turbo
