Question Any STI's runing the SARD R2D2 bov?

I just installed a Sard r2d2 bov on my STI and am having some clearance issues. I ended up having to take the tip of the bov off so it will fit next to the clutch booster fluid reservoir. It appears to be cosmetic and removable for that reason. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Have you had any A/F issues with this BOV? I'm considering getting one but don't want to screw up anything.
