basically iam passed teh whole basic bolt on stage with my car now a days, ad iam trying to get as uch power out of my car before resorting to meth/race gas. as of right now i have a built GST block and a gt30r in my car. just wondering if anyone has any experience with after market cams on there sti? if so what difference did you notice? what brand did you use? thnx in advanced.

 

I have cosworth 272's on my car you will have to ask mike at GST about the specs. I am on the stock turbo still and I will say cams were the greatest thing to ever happen to me.

The main difference I notice is My car has 0 turbo lag on the stock turbo. I am going to eventually run a Blouch DOM 3 and it will make that turbo respond very well. Very steep power and torque curve.

For the most part cams will help to eliminate turbo lag especially if you are running a bigger turbo. I highly recomend them.
