You can check out the ppg gears they are more money than the sti trans but less work and you have one less gear and you stay 100lb lighter. I'm going with the ppg gears my trans is out I am all stock and blew up 3rd gear twice and the car only has 8700 miles on it. it's an 06 wrx so be careful on the trans bro

The driver mod is the best mod you can get
and it only comes from experience behind
the wheel.

 

I'm still looking for a good tuner in the Pittsburgh, PA area... I want a protuned stage 2!!

 

I am putting the ppg gears in mine right now it failed twice and my car was all stock at the time. so be careful with the trans. the sti trans is alot of work to install
