so tell me.... why do you have $1000.00 a month for your car? I'm guessing your mom and dad bought you a car. I'm guessing about 18... possibly 19 yrs old.... not paying a cent for the car or the insurance. The $1000.00 a month... is that an allowance?!? Dude, grow up and put your money in the bank. Save your money for something that'll matter in 5+ years. A car is fun to mod.... I've owned more cars than I care to say, but in time it'll be clear that all this money you blow in a car won't mean $hit. my $.02
Hey I say let him waste his money on whatever he wants to waste it on
He can pay me $1,000 and I will post up all over the internet how fast his car is!
Nah...anyways it is a real waste of time to have an STi and only use it for drag racing. Any monkey can shoot a gun but it takes a gorilla to make the bullet turn! Did that even make sense? Bleh whatevers!
P.S. Please don't flame the illiterate people...some of us just have trouble with it.

Actually, you should worry about it... you communicate with people through letters in here. It's not like talking over the phone. Personally, it is really hard to read when proper punctuations are not used. For some, they may just ignore the thread due to its poor punctuations.
Anyway, bigger turbo will be your top end gainer... and whatever everyone else mentioned. Or go to your local shop, and tell them what you want.
Oh and one thing... how do you "became gay in the process" of going to school?

i'm getting a HUGE tax refund this year, and i could blow it all on car parts to make my car handle great or do the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds but instead i'm putting it towards paying off the car so i'll own it out right. then, once it's paid off, if i want to i can go silly with the car upgrades.
think about how much money you are talking about - $12k a year. that's a pretty sizable amount of money to put down on a house, or to significantly reduce the amount you owe on your car. in both situations it will be money MUCH better spent than buying parts for your car if the extra $1k/month suddenly dries up for some reason.

That would be the grammatically correct way to form an insult. See if you want to really **** someone off, they have to understand you. Since most of us have at least a basic High School education you are quite confusing when you use improper grammar.

I guess that's fine, it's just that some people don't want to even read your stuff because of the way you put it. You're right, you can do whatever you want. There's just some things you don't do. You can go to a funeral wearing white, it's just, out of place. There's just a way round here that people try to install. You use relatively good grammar and punctuation in order to get your question properly respected and answered. I mean you don't go to England expecting everyone speak without an accent.
As far as the drunken outburst, that's a little silly and it just sounds like a cry for help. You really just make yourself sound like an alcoholic that's going to loose that well paying job real soon. And I don't think it's wise to start going around ridiculing other people's income. I don't think as many people would try to be your "parents" if you didn't act like you needed it. They are just trying to give you sound advice. Don't throw it back in thier face. Just take it with a grain of salt and go on. There's no sense in going nuts over the internet.
As for the turbo thing... I didn't really understand what you're asking. Are you asking about the advantages and disadvantages with different types of turbos? Personally I would like to know which is the best turbo upgrade with the least about of lag. If anyone could let me know that I'd be interested. Also why it has the least lag.
I'm going to have to agree with the earlier posts. Suspension is a great idea. Although it might not be your thing, you should keep the balance the car has now. I know I like my sti right now just the way it is. I also want more power. But if I add more power without adjusting the other properties of the car it's not going to feel the same. what' i'm trying to say is you might not want the suspension now, but after you get more power. You're going to want it. Plus what happens when (and I'm not suggesting this) you get into a street race. It's just wise. But again, do what you want. I think people don't realize, that suspension and handling coupled with great power is what they really love about the sti. If you threw 300 horsepower on a 87 subaru, you wouldn't like it as much.
