I have an 05 Sti and so far everything sounds right. The only other thing is they got rid of the crappy grey air bag cover and went with a all black steering wheel.

the steering ratio is better on the 05 compared to the 04 from 15.2:1 to 15.0:1

That link is for a Spec C we don't even get those in the US..Horse power and torque are the same as 2004 no change.

Can anyone confirm or deny that the 05' STI comes with s/s brake lines and s/s clutch line? Also as stated above does the 05' STI come STOCK with the short throw?

Also what is the difference in seats as far as an 04 to an 05 goes? Looking at the pics they look exactly the same to me.

it's not that the '05 STi comes with the short throw, its that most of them have the package which includes the short throw.

The seat fabric is supposed to grip better, and the bolster foam is supposed to be stiffer.

haha, i knew that, avcs, vvt-i, i-vtec. too many to remember, too easy to mix up.....at least for me anyways
