02 wrx oil leak

I was on the freeway in 5th gear. I go to pass a semi (not going more than 70) then i hear a pop. i notice no power loss or boost leak. i pulled over and noticed oil leaking and smoking from engine. I immediately killed the engine and towed it to my house. after getting it home I inspected under the car. Oil everywhere it seemed like. But alot leaking around the turbo. I used degreaser and cleaned it best i could. I filled up with more oil (about 2 1/4 quarts). I started the motor and saw no leaks. Let motor idle for about 10-15 min. no leak. Took it down the street no leak no smoke. Boosted it a little.....boom smoke and leaking like a stuck pig. I assume its the oil return line but im not ase certified and would like your opinion. So if you have read this far thanks and id appreciate your input.

Thanks
Suby B

You don't gotta be ASE certified to pull off your turbo and check it out. Oil return line is visible from under the car.

In my recent experience the oil line on te bottom of the turbo isn't secured very well. Doesn't seat very snug on the turbo.
