Ok, so I was driving in my 08 Rex and noticed that every time I would accelerate I would hear a loud hiss. A Check Engine code of P0244 popped up so I took it to Subaru under warranty. The mechanic said that the BPV housing is cracked and the valve is sticking. He suggested to go aftermarket as he claimed this was a common issue with the stock BPV. I now have a TurboXS Hybrid on its way and will be installed tomorrow.

Anyone else have this problem? I heard from many that the stock BPV are well built and don't need to change them/ upgrade if running stock boost.
