i've followed a HKS ti and it sounds sweet. i want it, except i would scrape it eveytime i got on the road. haha.

Cats are IMO the best pick.. cheap and legal.

Hey islandx or anyone else, where can you get the Apexi Hayabusa? I've been interested in it for some time but nobody around here seems to carry it.
And BAN SUVS, dammit I want a sponsor too! Vishnu need a guinea pig WRX?

and I have to admit, its one sweet and LIGHT exhaust system. The CUSCO dp is bling bling too.

Any way i like my helix dp mated to a bosal catback. $650 for the turboback shipped. Helix at grupp-s and bosal at J-Spec tuning.

How come no one has mentioned Stromung Exhaust? Granted I don't own a WRX, but I do have a 00 RS and I think they are the best sounding/looking exhaust systems. Plus, it did free up some hp's to make a noticeable difference. Very well manufactured system.

I have a friend who imports directly from japan. I have never seen it for sale elsewhere.

I LOVE my 3" Stromung bolted to my Perrin DP
I get lotsa compliments on the sound.
It sounds nice and mellow off boost, but on boost it really does make nice noise. Never drones, and can't hear it on the highway just cruzin.
Plenty loud when you want it that way, and quiet when the poh-poh are near
