wrx unstable at high speeds?
SubaruWRSEX,
I lived in Italy for over 4 years and the driving is great but I only saw 2-3 Ferrari's my whole time there and I never saw a lambo. I saw more Lambo's and Ferrari's in one night cruising South Beach in Miami than I ever saw in Europe in almost 5 years. They do have a lot of nice Alfa's.

The car seems stable to me at higher speeds with one glaring exception, high scpeed braking. I was cut off some time ago on the freeway when I was traveling at a speed that I probably shouldn't have been. Maybe it was just me but heavy braking at high speeds makes the car feel very unstable (the back end felt too light and the car became very darty).

Getting into triple digits makes my stock-suspended WRX feel 'floaty' on anything other than a straight, flat, and level strip of highway. Sort of like a 20-year old Caddy with worn out shocks at 65 mph. A subie only needs springs, struts (or coilovers), adjustable rear anti-sway bar, and good tires to fix most of what's too soft on the car. You can spend more and get more but it's diminishing returns.

130 mph for me was stable and I was switching lanes because a car desided to get infront of me. I hate the damn WHITSLE at 115mph+ though. It was caused by a sticker behind the rear outdoor mirrors. hehe 4th gears tops out at 130 thats y I stopped there. Car feels light but not unstable.
The Aftermarket rims and wheels along with the lowering of the car caffected ur performance... Get an allignment and balance again then try the High Speed chase
My car is Stock btw

As far as stability goes...I had Tein HA's with stock rims and upgraded tires and then switched to 17" with 215/45's and with both set ups had no stability issues. In fact my wife was commenting one time on how smooth and stable the car felt as we drove back from the bay area and I was doing about 115 at the time.
Now I have the STi/KYB 4-way adjustable struts and springs (pink) and still have no stability issues.
So as WW said

Kinda off topic but I had to ask... Can you post more about your new suspension vs the Tein HA's and why you switched? Post in the Suspension Section cause I would like you to compare and contras the two since you experinced them first hand.
