mine was VERY unstable... even at normal highway speeds of 70- 80 mph. i guess it just had funky alignment from the factory or something.
i later added a lip and it was very stable... then i took it off cuz it scraped and the car was unstable again. i then got an STi grill just for looks, but the car became more stable!
the wing risers, i only felt a small difference because rear stability was never an issue.
Ultimately, a good suspension was the best for high speed stability... even lifted 2" and going at triple digit speeds, its more stable than it ever was! (however, i imagine it'd be much better if i were lowered instead and had more aero mods)
PS. the BMW is designed to be comfy & safe in stock form at high speeds, the WRX is not. German cars are made for the Autoabahn.

That may be , but they wont turn on a dime in a rally!!!!! Its a give and take. No ifs, ands, or butts about it!!!
Its all in the geometry of the suspension system!!!!

how sway bars work
you wont feel much difference going 120, 130, 140 etc if the road is perfectly flat......but damn, once u hit the smallest of bumps, you'll know it
and that damn side mirror, whowls and whistles like crazy

It just isn't safe at those speeds in this country. Even if you know how to drive some idiot will always pull out without looking or change lanes without signaling. I miss living in Italy, I drove as fast as I wanted to and everyone stays in the right lane unless passing. If you come up behind someone they automaticly move over and flashing your lights actually will part the red sea.
Sweeeet. Poor us, if we were over in Italy the WRX would be gettin slaugterd by a lambo or ferrari doin like 210. Lucky bastards in the 200 + club. I am jealous.
