wrx catback exhaust help

I'm saving up for 02 or 03 wrx sedan and I was wondering which exhaust to buy. I'm really leaning towards the Apex'i GT Spec catback. I was looking at the HKS Hi-Power but I think they slant in the back in an angle and I don't like that so I was looking for one that goes straight out and sound's nice but that shouldn't be hard since the boxer engine sounds sooooooooooo nice. But any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows where I can find a sound clip let me know. One more thing how difficult is it to install a catback?

it's pretty simple, unbolt from the resonator (Center) pipe, remove from exhaust hangers. use lots of wd40

the perrin twin tip sounds really good, but i had some fitment issues on my 02 WRX. on my car, the straight pipe was hitting my floor board, and when it was adjusted, the axle back hit my rear end. either way i couldn't win. i ended up getting a completely different cat-back.

stromung makes a really nice dualtip catback/turboback exhaust. people say it's one of the best sounding exhausts on the market. there's a vendor on here (flash and dash) who specializes in stromung exhausts, check out the vendors forum. you can also look at the prodrive axleback, this is very stock looking, and also has a great sound.

both the apex gt spec and hks hi power look almost the same. Plus both are angled exhaust.

Perrin is nice but it's really loud. If you like that, then by all means, buy it.
