Both when the gas gage gets to ½ and under hard cornering it cuts out and when at wot at any tank fullness it dose have hesitation.

Are you sayin it cuts out completely like when you are super low on gas?

my boost has always fluctuated (doesn't "cut out" though) when say going from 25-50 up a hill, nothing terrible, almost like when you are rolling through a parking lot in first gear and you touch the throttle and the drivetrain bounces a little (though not as much). My friends WRX's do the same thing '02's and 03's, so I always thought it was normal.

did it have an accessport on it?

There is a setting called "valet" and it cuts the fuel off at 3500rpm. just so when u take your car for repairs, they won't rape it.

If it is the case and it's running on realtime, just disconnect the battery. and reattach it. you will then be back to the regular basemap

ALL THIS IS ONLY IF THERE WAS ACCESSPORT AND SET ON THIS MODE! hope that helps! goodluck

I had this same problem with my 04 WRX took it to the dealer in Wisconsin (dont ever go) they said that the turbo is shot.... I had a different explination from NASIOC. I was getting a rattling from the turbo side a rattle about 5k and no grunt at 5,100 and a cel that matched bank one sensor one... forgot what the actual cel code was but one guy said that it was the up pipe... so I bought a new/used one and put that in today, as a matter of fact, and no more rattle at 4k and runs boost all the way to 7k. but getting 7.x psi ... not sure what that is about. still trying to figure that one out as we speak :-) hope this helps some.
