I just did the first mod to my 02 WRX. Silencer mod. Yeah I know its cheap (free) but it made me feel good when i finshed it. And the directions from scoobymods.com was totally right. It wasn't difficult at all. However, there were a few differences. But all in all a quick mod.

I can't wait to hear this noise difference that people are talking about.

Just wanted to tell someone because I was so happy.

Anyone know of a nice clean way to connect the airbox to the fender hole???

My next mods were going to be some prodrive or H&R lowering springs and front and rear anti-sway bars, and the KB short shifter, with prodrive shiftknob.

See i bought the shortshifter from the factory and it SUCKS. The rod is thin as hell and it feels like i hit three notches before it goes into any gear instead of "popping" into gear. Which reminds me, i'm getting the KB Bushings as well. Unless anyone knows of a small company that makes sealed cartridge shifter bushings????? Anyone??

 

I just wish i had a bit of a stiffer ride. I don't not like the current set up because of the small amount of body roll i get around corners.

I really dont mind stiff as hell rides...I almost prefer an uncomfortable ride where i can feel the rivets in the road.

What do the stiffer rear end links do??

 

I do have a rather serious question. Does the silencer mod void any warranty???

I should have asked this BEFORE i did the mod.
