Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Cobb reflash itself is probably the best "streetability wise" upgrade. 30+ more hp (so they claim) with nothing that The Man can harass you for and nothing that cause immediate problems.

also...I'd like to keep the stock IC (mainly cause upgrades are so expensive) so need something that fits in this range or maybe I'll try the alcohol injection route...

and why the heck is my sig not showing?!?
I would recommend the Vishnu stage 0 for streetability. Hundreds of people have gained ~40 wheel horsepower with just an ECU reflash, uppipe, and pulley. The 321 uppipe is almost impossible to spot without putting the car on a lift, you can pass emissions testing (if that's a concern in Kansas) and the everyday driveability actually improves over stock. Stage 0 is $1095 shipped. Alcohol injection is not something to worry about until you are trying a stage III on for size.

Sigs are disabled on the forums to reduce bandwidth usage and keep the site running well. It also keeps things from getting too cluttered up to read, unlike 99% of other car-related chat boards out there.

Call them up and ask. I am sure they have reflahes available for some turbos, so ask them what they recommend.
