I am considering this exhaust but am concerned with the noise level. I would like to hear from current owners of the perrin cat back their opinions and thoughts. Also indicate if you are catless. I do want a deep tone but just can stand a highway drone. I have heard a clip and currently think it may be to loud.

I spent most of Sunday following Lance (Lowball on Nasioc) who has a full Perrin exhaust, and trust me, it is LOUD. I can't recall hearing a louder exhaust on a WRX. He was catless, but even then I don't think it would make a huge difference. If you want a deep tone but not loud, try the Vishnu standard exhaust. It's polished 304 stainless, and resonated, so it sounds nice but is not at all loud, just a little more noticeable than stock. Plus, it makes nice power gains.

 

Or any of the other quality Japanese exhausts Jun WRX.
