How much information about your car do you want to know? That is the starting point. I sugest getting a turbo gauge. You can see how much boost your car is putting out, and if there are any problems with your turbo. The WRX dosnt come with a voltage or a oil pressure gauge. I would also suggest getting those. If you want to know more you could get air fuel ratio, exhaust temp, oil temp, fuel pressure. If you dont want to spend gobbs of money on gauges look at autometer.

Just make sure to keep your receipt for your Autometer guages you buy...sometimes it takes a couple tries to get a good one.

BTW...I have the Autometer 52mm(2-1/16")SportComp boost and EGT in the autometer 2-guage bezel, and I think its great. Get 168 bulbs for them and use the spare plug on the radio harness, and they will match brightness and dim with the cluster guages when adjusted on the light stalk.

Gauges are a must when you start changing boost. At which point you should get a boost meter and an EGT meter. If you start chaging fuel trim and/or timing, you should have those meters as well as a logging tool.

If you spent $400 - $500 in Autometer gauges you would have about nine gauges in your car. Plus the four stock ones. You dont need that many if it is not a pure race car. But if you went with blitz or another company like that I can see where $400 - $500 would get your three to four gauges.
