where do i start

just got my 03 wrx yesterday, and i want to know where to start with performance mods. hopefully for not a ton of cash. just want to make it look like i know what im doing at track events and such. thanks for putting up with a newbie

for the most bang for the buck, try a catless uppipe, underdrive pulleys, and/or samco/vishnu intercooler pipes. i also recommend a mbc. keep in mind that many dealers probably wont like to see these things on your car if you take it in for warranty work, so be sure to read up on each part before you purchase them.

You want to start with performance mods, get an SCCA license and go race on a track to learn your car.

Yes and then buy better tires and start modding the suspension.

thanks for the advice

thanks for the advise, youre right, i should probably learn how to really drive the car well, before i start modding it. haha. i love the all wheel drive aspect of it. i have experience racing both front and rear wheel cars, both with their advantages and disadvanteges, but all wheel drive seems to take the best from both worlds. i think im hooked on subaru from now on.
