Where can I get a HO Alternator for 03 rex? I took it to a local shop here in town and they cannot get a kit for the alt to wind it for more amps. I can 1. buy a new one or 2. send it to a shop where the local shop gets their kits and they will personally rewind it. The stinger alts are around 500 big ones and I dont feel like spending my kids college fund so I can have a system in my car, thanks (I would spend it but my wife wont let me)

 

if you want a system that bad mount a second battery in your trunk. Go with something like an Optima Yellow or Red top. Either of those should take care of your power needs and cost way less than a new alt.

 

Jdm alternators are a higher amp see if kingpin has any.

 

I had a second and third battery from stinger in my trunk, but batteries are just for extended play when the car is off, they do not help when the car is running. I was gonna buy a yellow top for the main battery and juice the alt up and get a cap to take the straing off the alt.
