I been using this HKS type 0 turbo timer for 1 and half yrs already, everything is good. but yesterday i set in in 5mins but it only count down for 1min then it turn off
itself. Now the timer won't turn on like no power at all. So anyone know what's wrong with my timer.

 

You might have lost the ground. Try finding out if your ground is connected still.

Seems like it might have shorted somewhere.

I agree. I don't have an HKS one, but the one I have only had one strand of the ground making contact with the clip so if you moved the cable a bit, it would start to count down and even turn the car off. I took it to ASP in Daly City that did the install and they didn't even want to check the wiring and said because I was playing with the buttons too much and was confusing the timer. What a bunch of tools!

 

i had a greddy timer a while back and it took a dump on me after a year of use, guess from sitting on top of the steering column it got to much heat exposure and it fried it from a hot summer...took it to GReddy and they gave me a new one for free...
