Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Talking Whats next

I recently installed a helix uppipe, downpipe, K&N drop in, intake silencer delete and STI hood scoop on my 03 and I love it, however I'd still like to have a little more power any suggestions ? I'd like to stick to things that are somewhat easy to install because I have the 70k warrenty and would like te be able to take it in just in case. Thanks guys

a catback exhaust gives good power, and to improve cooling, get a silicon hose kit from perrin or samco, samco's cheap and does the same thing . perrin lightened crank pulley, easy install just take off alternator cover, take of tensioning bolt, (losen all the bolts holding the alternator) den take off the belts and remove crank pulley, and put the ligten one on, the perrin lighten crank pulley comes with easy instructions. and since you dont want to mess with your extended warrenty, a reflash should work, this setup should give you really good power and also give you a sleeper look.

I don't believe the dealerships can detect a reflash although in the future if they have to reflash it using their tools, your performance reflash is gone. Since there are no issues with the stock '03 ECU, this shouldn't be a concern.

Go here http://cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport.html. The Cobb AccessPORT is a trusted reflash tool. Also, you can switch the programming back to stock when you take your car into the dealership. Furthermore, they have absolutely no way of telling that the ECU has been flashed. I've had mine for more than 6 months and it's great. I almost forgot, it's also I diagnostic tool if you get a CEL.
