What does this mean and or what does it cause? Is this a bad thing? I'm Jus curious and I know it's prob a stupid?

 

im no turbo guru, but spikes are what the word means, it
reaches a certain point of boost for a short moment and drops
back to the average sustained boost pressure.

from what i hear spikes are not good as it can cause
momentary over heating on the uppipe cat and possibly
prematurely wear on the turbo. but if you're talking
1-1.5psi, not sure if that's really going to be an issue.
