what parts to replace on a 2.0L WRX replacement?

my motor recently started consuming more oil than usual and I believe it's time to rebuild the engine. i've put 170k miles on the car without much trouble, still on the original clutch. so on to my questions...

i'm looking to purchase a new 2.0L short-block from the dealer, and new heads and moving over the cams and valve. I am trying to find out what parts I should expect to replace since i'm basically putting in a brand new engine.
Here is what I have so far:

overhaul gasket kit (includes head gaskets and a bunch of other gaskets & seals)
water pump
timing belt
idler pulleys (1 &2)
timing belt tensioner
lighter crank pulley
oil pan pickup
ARP head studs
spark plugs
exedy streetlight fly wheel
act clutch
STi clutch line
newer TD04 turbo
new uppipe

I would greatly appreciate any info and tips the i-club community can share with me on getting this done successfully.

Thanks!

Why not save $$$ and rebuild the existing block?

time.

Me and my friend that are doing the work have little of it and both have babys at home. it's not much less money to rebuild, and more time once you factor in machine work.

I just picked up a 2.0 short block from machine shop.
They put new rod and main bearings, piston rings.
Are you gonna geta new heads or rebuild old ones?
you should replace the motor mounts too since you have 170K on exicting ones and most likely they are blown
let us know how the build goes
